From a great training this morning with @DrLisaWilliams. Curious indeed.. @SenWarren I know this is a stepping stone in the right direction but I’m really ready to be there already. #WomensDay

Started reading Internment by Samira Ahmed last night. I would say the genre is dystopian fiction except that it’s feels like it’s more dystopian non-fiction of a very real possible future if we don’t #Resist and do it soon. @sam_aye_ahm
Such an honor to find out my words are featured in @splcenter + @Tolerance_org. I can't tell you how excited I am for this to be shared w/ students & educators alike!
If you're a #Disabled#Nonbinary#Transgender#POC student & witness these words, I wrote this for us! 💜
Academic "rigor" should mean creating points of entry and flexible pathways for encouraging different work from different students. Why is it so often used to describe shutting down pathways and putting up barriers to learning? Oh ... because "rigor" means "frozen, stiff, dead."
