The Council of the @GSA_UWaterloo just had a robust discussion on the new rates of the graduate student minimum funding. Tuition, international tuition, cost of living and inflation were in the focus.
UW continues poviding the same increase for both for international and domestic students despite drastic difference in cost of living change. According to UW, the new rates for phd will result in some increase for domestic and decrease for international students in real prices.
