Please switch off all non-essential electrical appliances during #loadshedding to avoid power surges when the power returns. Failure to do so may lead to unnecessary trips or damages to household appliances when the supply is restored.

Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented this evening 11 May 2022 from 17:00 – 22:00 tonight due to the failure of three generation units
Based on the rotational loadshedding schedule Laudium, Erasmia and Claudius will be affected from 17:00 until 18:30

Laudium reservoir has recovered and water level will continue to build up over time.We are monitoring the recovery of the Atteridgeville reservoir.
Residents are urged to use water sparingly to enable the affected reservoirs to recover to maximum capacity. #WaterUpdate
