@itsjaredmachado @lincodega @CHofferCBus Oh my gods, you are right. They actual fixed this! The plain meaning of the spell Daylight does what a player expects it does against vampires!

@lincodega @CHofferCBus This really bugs me but rules as written, none of these vampires are in danger from the Daylight spell. The caption reads, "An elf cleric uses the spell Daylight to bring the light of the dawn to a vampire court". Why do the rules go against the cool/logical action in the art?!
