A true bucket list moment ⚽️ To be officially included in Football Manager 2026 for my Head of Development role is incredibly humbling. A small gesture of my legacy with Darlo that I can look back and be proud of 💯
📢 Club Announcement
Just under two years ago, Dan joined Darlington FC Youth as Development Lead, later taking on the role of Head of Player and Coach Development.
During his time with us, Dan has been a tremendous asset — helping to shape our players, support our coaches, and strengthen the youth setup across the club.
As Dan moves on to a new chapter, we’d like to thank him for all his hard work, commitment, and passion for Darlington FC Youth.
We wish him every success in the future — thank you, Dan! 👏⚽
Really excited to be appointed Partnerships Manager for the @DFC__Foundation - I've been fortunate to be involved as a coach for near my entire 3 year tenure in Darlington, seeing the good work they do first hand and now I'll get to build relationships to push it on even more!⚽️
3 years officially in Darlington! 🙌
What a mental 3 years it’s been, turning up here in a giant moving van after essentially closing my eyes and pointing on a map to choose it. And who could believe it worked out how it has! ⚽️
🚨❤️🤍 BREAKING: Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, here we go! Verbal agreement in place between all parties.

CURRENT FORM//
Darlington Town
Xth | XXXXXX - Town finished in 13th place last season, a creditable performance in their first ever Northern League campaign.
Town have retained their close knit squad which has been supplemented with young Darlington talent. Reece Brown and Adam Cocks come in to add Northern League know-how as Town look to improve on their midtable placing in 24/25.
Billingham Synthonia
Xth | XXXXXX - A season of change last season ended with Chris Dunwell guiding Synners to 14th place. The summer followed in a similar vein of disruption with more off field turmoil as Dunwell left the club to be replaced by novice duo Tom Lea & Chris Rix.
The squad has had a massive overhaul with a focus on youth and lower league talent. The acquisition of Arthur Connelly, Cam Thompson and Charlie Raby add Northern League experience.
⏪LAST TIME//
The points were shared in the corresponding NL2 fixture last season as it ended 1-1 at the Eastbourne Community Stadium.
The visitors opened the scoring on 35 minutes as experienced midfielder Jamie Davis on target for Synners.
Town were level with 15 minutes left to play as Ben Wood struck to make it 1-1, and that’s how it finished although Town had Jim Wilson dismissed late on.
🔮OUR PREDICTION//
Town will go into this one favourites. A settled squad and long serving management team should provide the stability for the hosts to go on to record the victory.
The often mercurial James Beauchamp should be front and centre among the goals once more.
Synners, due to the upheaval and rebuilding of virtually the whole first team - management included - are a bit of a wild card. Things could click and they might be a surprise package, and they also might not.
They will be an interesting watch this season.
But we feel Town will take this one.
Town 3-1 Synners

🚨🔴⚪️ Negotiations between Arsenal and Chelsea for Noni #Madueke are planned for next week after the player has given the green light for the move, as reported. #CFC
Arsenal have reached a full agreement with Madueke until 2030, after making their official bid days ago, as revealed. The 23 y/o winger is currently focused on the Club World Cup with Chelsea. Price valuation: around €60m.
No official offer from Arsenal to Chelsea yet, but it is being prepared. The deal is on.

This was the line for the offside.. called for offside but visually - that’s on side right? France player is clearly in line and playing her on. #WomensEuro2025#FRAENG
