@prodnose The ‘Who cares?’ final. Gone are the days you would watch it live, watch again on BBC Saturday night and again on ITV Sunday lunchtime. Now it is down the pub and check the phone now and then.
@NFFC_owen It isn't all bad, Nottingham has some cracking pubs for him to join up with the fans when he puts his winning run together.
You'll soon have those 'first the points, then the pints' t-shirts available.
Seriously, best of luck and hope you stay up.
@wolvespremier Sheffield United, home, March 1968. Next door neighbour took me, we sat in the Molineux Street stand. Lost 3-1, the die was cast early on.
@StokeyyG2 Wolves 2, Watford 3 FA Cup Semi-final. I can’t find it within myself to add further. Ok we may well have lost to Man. C. in final but at least we’d have reached one.
@robertmdaws@Wolves Don't recognise the keeper, right of Kindon - Brian Owen player-coach, right of Bailey - Gerry O'Hara, front on right - John Farley.
@71Season @parkster59 Though I’m from Wolverhampton, like this tale. We beat Ferencvaros in the semi-final, so could have been Budapest. I was at both legs.
@Tgarratt10 As a Wolves fan, I really wish him well and that things would have worked out, he is only on loan BTW. Scottish league is about his level at present, noting he hardly set Belgium or Holland alight. Premier League he is not. If he is up for it we’ll snatch him back.
@robertmdaws Always remember seeing him play for Burnley at Molineux, from memory we (Wolves) won 3-2, roughly 1976. He was the best player on the pitch and wasn't surprised he went far, great player.
