At Kenyatta National Hospital, the heartbeat of Kenya’s referral system, nurses are protesting unpaid allowances, unremitted deductions, and a biting staff shortage.

KNH’s paralysis overwhelms already struggling county hospitals. Doctors are also facing dire conditions, reusing single-use supplies while billions vanish into bureaucratic "leakages."

As this happens, KK is pushing SHA registration. If SHA is truly superior, why did Parliament secure private insurance while pushing a failing system for everyone else? Wenye Nchi face life-and-death consequences while MPs enjoy special treatment.

That will not stand under a Martha Karua government. If money meant for medicine buys a mansion, that is a crime against Wenye Nchi.
