@TheExtremeMusi1 Near impossible given the number of classic albums released in 1984, but if forced to choose only one release from the year it has to be Private Dancer by Tina Turner ♥️
@LesPurves Insanely crazy year for Jazz releases - I would go for Kind of Blue but secretly close the door of my vinyl retreat and listen to all of the other records, too !
We’re excited to announce that ‘George Michael: The Faith Tour’ is coming to the big screen later this year! 👀 Shot in Paris in 1988, the never-before-seen, long lost film has been restored & remastered. It will be introduced by an original short film from Mary McCartney.
On this day in 2000, Joni debuted ‘Both Sides Now.’ Released as a concept album, the record centers on orchestral arrangements of classic jazz songs, and only includes two of her own songs: “Both Sides Now” and “A Case of You.”
