100% The invasion by #RussiaIsATerroristState in 2022 (which was forces positioned themselves for during the Zapad 2021 exercises) was allowed to occur (Unlike under similar tensions during the Zapad exercises in both 2017 and 2019) due to concessions and attempts of appeasement by Western allies, and it continues to this day either due to their continuing incompetence and inability to see through the #RussianPropaganda that floods their news and briefing materials (while many in the USG seem to ignore those of us with valuable insight and valid on-the-ground experience), or simply their own interests in not losing the economic boost brought to them through their connection to the billions of euros that flow out of Russia due to the vast corruption of #PutinIsAWarCriminal’s regime. The day in February 2022 when @POTUS and @JakeSullivan46 made clear during @JoeBiden’s televised address that not a single American boot would touch the ground in Ukraine and no intervention would take place unless the war extended into Poland, is the day that @POTUS invited this war to begin, which it did less than 10 days later. The administration’s policy of appeasement and efforts behind the scenes to limit the strategic response of Ukraine, have in the end cost the lives of tens, in not hundreds, of thousands of Ukrainian civilians.
The Kremlin is using the UN and UNESCO as a shield from responsibility for crimes.
Yesterday, during a combined missile-drone attack on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, the Russians killed at least 10 civilians, injured more than 70 people, and damaged civilian objects and world and national cultural heritage.
▶️ The Russians are carrying out regular massive strikes on Ukraine using dozens of missiles and hundreds of drones: on June 15, the enemy launched 34 ballistic missiles, 30 cruise missiles, and six hypersonic missiles at Ukraine, as well as 611 UAVs.
▶️ Ukrainian air defense demonstrates high efficiency: on June 15, 100% of cruise missiles, 95% of drones, more than 80% of hypersonic missiles, and 44% of ballistic missiles were shot down.
▶️ Russian terror and destruction of cultural heritage have been condemned by the EU, the leadership of the Council of Europe and PACE, representatives of the governments of Australia, Canada, the UK, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Moldova, and other countries. Ukraine is grateful to its partners for their support and appreciates their readiness for concrete steps.
▶️ Ukraine is convening an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council, a special session of the UNESCO Executive Board, and is using other international legal mechanisms for an immediate assessment of the Kremlin's barbarity.
▶️ Russia's presence in the UN Security Council, UNESCO, and other international organizations contradicts their values and is used by the Kremlin to avoid responsibility for crimes.
▶️ Russia is engaged in the deliberate destruction of cultural heritage: two targeted drone strikes attacked the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the "Art Arsenal" museum complex in Kyiv, and before that - the Kharkiv Art Museum.
▶️ Attacks on temples and museums are not isolated cases: since 2022, the Russians have destroyed in Ukraine at least 336 religious institutions (Christian churches, mosques, synagogues), damaged almost 50 museums, including the destruction of the Grigory Skovoroda Museum in Kharkiv Oblast, the Maria Pryimachenko Museum in Kyiv Oblast, and the Arkhip Kuindzhi Museum in Mariupol.
▶️ Ukraine requires the strengthening of air and missile defense to protect civilians and critical infrastructure.
▶️ Ukraine is counting on the support of partners in obtaining a license and deploying in Europe the production of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems and PAC-3 anti-aircraft missiles. This is a necessary condition for protecting European countries from missile threats.
Guys, they’re bombing: museums, churches, horse stables, zoos, cinema studios, - and, of course, residential buildings.
Ukraine adheres to international law, you see refineries burning. Any civilian damage was not intentional and it can easily be seen from the trajectories.
We thank @ICOMOS - #UNESCO’s official consultant on the evaluation & preservation of cultural & historical heritage sites throughout the world - for its strong stance on yesterday’s RU bombing of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra - UNESCO World Heritage Site https://t.co/UTAqqEwu7s
🌍 Count the vehicles, count the flags.
No government organised this, and no defence budget paid for it.
We're just people who decided our neighbour's borders won't be redrawn by force.
Every contribution reminds 🇺🇦 defenders they’re not alone.

Russians killed horses at a children's equestrian sports school in Sumy region.
Overnight, Russians attacked Ukraine with 119 strike drones. According to preliminary data from the Air Force, Ukrainian air defense systems shot down or suppressed 97 enemy drones.
At the same time, 20 UAVs hit 11 locations, and debris from downed targets fell on six locations.
🔹 In Sumy region, a Russian drone struck the territory of an equestrian sports school. The occupiers attacked a civilian facility where children studied every day. The strike hit the stable. The staff of the institution were not injured, but the horses were killed as a result of the attack.
🔹 In Zaporizhia, around 11 PM on June 16, Russians directed five strike drones at civilian buildings. Residential buildings, an office center, and educational institutions were hit by the attack.
As a result of the attack, one person was killed, and seven others were injured and hospitalized. The office center was almost completely burned down, and Zaporizhia National University suffered damage - windows and doors were broken, and the facade was damaged. Five multi-story buildings and four private houses were also damaged.
1/ A Ukrainian attack in December 2025 which almost certainly caused serious damage to a Russian submarine in Novorossiysk was reportedly facilitated by an extraordinary security breach by the Black Sea Fleet's commander, Admiral Sergei Pichuk. ⬇️

This is what yesterday’s G7 meeting looked like: Ukraine has taken the place of Putin’s Russia within the Group of Seven.
This is arguably a fitting and logical outcome of Putin’s 26-year rule. He took over a Russia that held the status of a leading world power, yet he will leave behind a pariah state relegated to the world’s backyard.

Collins: You said you think that Ukraine is going to ultimately win this war. When you were talking behind closed doors and the U.S. president was there, is that a view that he seemed to share as well?
Carney: We, the Germans, the UK, the French, all are of the view that the tide has turned in this war. It is a matter of time. Putin is going to lose this war.
🇺🇦💥In Ukraine, a real-time OSINT air threat monitoring website "Kontur" has been launched
Unlike regular alert maps, the kontursystems service visualizes the approximate movement of all types of enemy targets: from Shaheds and KABs to cruise and hypersonic missiles.
In addition to the Telegram bot, a web version with a timelapse feature is now available, allowing you to view the history of object movements over time.
The platform operates based on OSINT — it does not have access to air defense radars but reads textual monitoring sources, from which the algorithm models approximate routes.
Since the coordinates are approximate, during an alert you should only trust official notifications and go to shelter.
The official White House app is mandated on federal government employees' phones. Code inside the app is developed by a company that states it is headquartered in Europe. Nope. Its Russian business is booming, and they are still hiring Russian developers. https://t.co/dbF1rJkXBm
"It's like performing open-heart surgery when you don't have enough equipment, there's no electricity, and you don't have the right injections. And you have to do it so the heart doesn't stop."
— Minister of Defence Mykhailo Fedorov, on reforming Ukraine's military mid-war.
Mykhailo Fedorov @FedorovMykhailo gave his first major interview since taking office five months ago. It was his most candid public statement yet — covering battlefield results, pay reform, contracts, demobilisation, AWOL, foreign recruitment, AI warfare, and the corruption he is fighting inside his own ministry.
10 things from that interview that show exactly where Ukraine is heading. 👇🧵
This is a great discussion between me and Shaun Pinner @ShaunPinnerUA on drone warfare, Russia-Ukraine, humanity, family and love.
I highly recommend checking that out!

G7 nations agree to significantly expand military support for Ukraine
The G7 nations have agreed to step up military aid to Ukraine. This includes the delivery of additional air defense equipment, new air defense systems, interceptor missiles, and long-range weapons.
The joint statement on Ukraine contains no mention of negotiations, a ceasefire, or a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
The focus is on continuing to support Ukraine, strengthening its position on the battlefield, and increasing pressure on Russia.
The document underscores the need to give Ukraine fresh momentum to counter Russian aggression.

I want to explain what stage the anti-ballistic missile shield is actually at — so that people don’t have to read about it in the distorted accounts of individual media outlets.
The missile itself is ready. From an aerodynamic standpoint, it fully executes all control commands, and it does so with precision and aggression — exactly as required to intercept ballistic targets. We’ve achieved that.
But this is just one element of the system. To actually intercept ballistic targets, the missile still needs to be integrated with a homing warhead, a command center, and radars.
So let’s be as clear as possible. We’ll be able to intercept ballistic missiles once we have the full system: a seeker from a leading European company, integration with C2 centers, a secure datalink for target designation and correction commands that’s resistant to any electronic warfare jamming, and integrated radars. We are already working on each of these components together with our European partners.
We are doing everything we can to protect the skies over Ukraine and the entire continent as quickly as possible.
Constant attacks of Russian FPV drones on Kherson continue.
A bus attacked by a drone, 2 killed and 2 injured.
A Molnia-type drone hit a residential building.
This systematic destruction of the city and the killing of civilians requires global attention.
‼️Zelensky said he wants to arrange a meeting with Putin before winter, emphasizing that the upcoming winter will be difficult not only for Ukraine, but for Russia as well.
“Before the winter, before the winter. Sorry, sorry. I think this is very important thing. to try to organize meeting before the winter. It was terrible winter for us, and but you have to understand that we, don't want to go through the same winter. But, and Russia has to know, that we had a terrible winter, and they will have also not simple one. So I think…my proposition, is a dialogue” - Ukrainian President at the G7, in. France, Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
SEN. KELLY: Ukraine is not asking us to fight with them with U.S. troops on the ground in Ukraine. They’re asking for help with equipment.
We want Russia to lose. I want Russia to lose badly. I want Ukraine to win. Best way to achieve that is to give them assistance they need.
