La presidenta del Consejo Regulador de la D.O. Cava, Marta Vidal, se ha reunido hoy con el ministro de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación, Luis Planas, para compartir los principales retos y oportunidades de futuro del sector.

Durante el encuentro se abordaron cuestiones estratégicas como la revalorización del viñedo, la sostenibilidad, la innovación, la digitalización, la adaptación a los nuevos hábitos de consumo y el relevo generacional, ejes clave para seguir fortaleciendo el presente y el futuro del Cava.

La reunión también permitió poner en valor las oportunidades que ofrecen los nuevos acuerdos comerciales internacionales para continuar impulsando la presencia del Cava en los mercados internacionales.

Guests experienced Cava de Guarda Superior through a curated five-Cava pairing menu, highlighting its outstanding quality, remarkable versatility, and perfect harmony with fine cuisine.

Strengthening Cava de Guarda Superior in Japan 🇯🇵🥂

On 1 July, D.O. Cava hosted an educational seminar in Tokyo for around 40 professionals from the wine, gastronomy, and distribution sectors. The session focused on Cava de Guarda Superior, featuring an in-depth presentation followed by a guided tasting of six selected Cavas. The seminar was led by Michelin-starred chef Yuki Kaneko, who shared his expertise and passion for gastronomy and Cava, along with personal insights from his recent visit to the Cava region last month.

D.O. Cava continues to promote its tradition, quality, and versatility internationally. 🍾
