Ethiopian Airlines has been named Africa’s Best Airline at the APEX Awards 2026, based on more than one million verified passenger votes collected via TripIt from Concur across over 600 airlines worldwide.
The recognition reflects the airline’s strong performance in areas such as safety, service quality, network expansion, and operational reliability.
Over the years, Ethiopian Airlines has grown into Africa’s largest carrier by fleet size and destinations, playing a major role in connecting the continent to global markets.
Despite ongoing challenges in the aviation industry, the airline continues to invest in modern aircraft, cargo operations, and regional connectivity, supporting trade, tourism, and mobility across Africa.
Musicians are often more effective at telling truth to power than journalists or experts. Like him or hate him, Teddy Afro deserves credit for his willingness and courage in saying through song what he sees as failures in Ethiopian politics. Listen!
