why not keep the shelves updated at the same time?

different stores from the same chain have different prices for the same item, and they all need to know the price after tax anyway to take your money, why not tell you the amount?

@1928Forsyth @MePeterNicholls @camruined As for it changing from location to location, I'm sure item prices do as well, so each store can just have their own price labels that include the local taxes, as they need to know the final price to charge at the till anyway

@1928Forsyth @MePeterNicholls @camruined it's the same down here, the store only collects the VAT that they then pass on to the taxman, yet we still manage to tell our customers what they'll be paying in total, rather than tell them what they'll be paying us, and adding an extra charge at the end.
