Yesterday, four missionaries were commissioned at Global Ministries. This is our first in-person commissioning in Atlanta since the Pandemic began. #BeUMC @umcmission

Last week was a busy week, beginning with a three day meeting with the Korean Ministry Plan in Atlanta, and ending the week in Oklahoma commemorating the National Indian Boarding School Day of Remembrance. #MultiEthnicMinistries @umcmission

I spent two days at Sager Brown, home to our @UMC_UMCOR Disaster Ministries Depot. Relief supplies are stored here and shipped out when various disasters occur across the US. @umcmission #BeUMC

The United Methodist Church Connection is everywhere! I randomly ran into Bennett College President Suzanne Walsh @BennettPres_SEW in Los Angeles after lunch today. I am a member of St. Matthews in Greensboro, where @BennettCollege began!

Today, I had the distinct opportunity to speak at @HolmanUMC. I had the opportunity to meet Rev. James Lawson, former Methodist Missionary and giant in the Civil Rights movement.

Let’s catch up: in June, I had the opportunity to spend time with the Arkansas @arkansasumc and New England conferences @neumc. In New England, we celebrated Bishop Devadhar’s upcoming retirement.
