@texasrunnerDFW SFHs are not investments and shouldnโt be looked at as such. They are a place to live, a place to build a family, a place to be a part of a community.
Regardless, you still own the home outright after 30 years and are leaving your heirs with a paid property.
@realEstateTrent I didnโt even realize that this existed! I understand the concept but I fear most need that โequityโ for comfort. Investing is scary to the vast majority.
