🚨 Bay Area thieves swiped a batch of mail-in ballots during California’s June 2 primary — another glaring example of why mail-in voting remains vulnerable.

About 29 ballots were stolen from collection boxes or mail, later recovered from stolen mail bins at a Grocery Outlet. Officials verified and counted them this time… but what about the ones that aren’t recovered?

California’s painfully slow vote counts are already under scrutiny (with LA mayor and governor races still unresolved). Mail theft happens repeatedly in the state — this isn’t an isolated incident.

In-person voting with ID is the gold standard for security and trust. We need reforms to protect every vote.
