Don't strive for average goals, because average goals bring about average results. Aim for lofty goals, goals which, when you succeed in bringing them to fruition, will bring about great results.

Have small goals along the way, too, to help you visualize your progress.

Nick Drake, to me, is one of the best artists to have ever lived. His lyrics are one of the factors I like to focus on when listening to his music, but he was an overall very well rounded musician. If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking out his music!
