If the ref never blew it down, it would have been goaltender interference anyways.

The refs have been useless and inconsistent for years. This isn’t new. I just made the point calls or better yet non calls have went against Canada too.

@GrantBrown36280 @SportsnetSpec The team knows that if the defence makes a mistake or gets beaten, it’s a coin flip if it’s a goal or not. Yes the defence has been bad, goaltending has been worse by far.

@OilersJack I can’t understand how people are trying to blame the defence. It could be a 5-0 warm up drill for all I care, an NHL caliber goalie should never let in 40% + of shots taken.

@SportsnetSpec You can put every oilers player on the bench and let it be a 5 on 0 and these numbers are still terrible for what’s considered “NHL” goalies.
