BTCNOW LAUNCHES “PAY-OVER-TIME” BITCOIN PURCHASES WITH 60 MONTHLY PAYMENTS

@BTCNowHQ has launched a new model allowing customers to lock in a Bitcoin purchase at today’s price while paying for it over five years.

Unlike dollar-cost averaging, the Bitcoin price is fixed when the purchase is made rather than changing with each monthly payment.

The company says:

• Payments are spread across 60 fixed monthly installments
• Bitcoin is held in trust until fully paid
• BitGo provides custody
• There are no margin calls or forced liquidations from BTC price declines
• A U.S.-wide rollout is planned over the coming months

The model effectively brings “buy now, pay later” financing to Bitcoin, allowing customers to secure BTC upfront without paying the full purchase amount on day one.

The dress, food and the location were the biggest price-saver techniques. #1 is drawing from your family/friends network (make it a bonding experience w/ division of labor), #2 hotel hacking (we had to attend a 1.5hr sales pitch), 3# make vendors compete for pricing, #4 cheap food (I.e. tacos & Costco), #5 utilize credit card percs

This represented 2% of my earnings that year. It wasn’t that we had to be inexpensive. It felt like we sacrificed nothing. It felt like a deeply meaningful project that we planned together. We recruited family to participate in our union - and it made meaningful memories for our sister (her house), our grandmother (who refined the dress), and our closest friends who helped us get the house set up over a 24hr period.

I went to a recent $100,000-$200,000 wedding at a country club. With a buffet, entertainer and an open bar. It was stuffy and cold.

Nope. For my California wedding w/150 guests + 7-day honeymoon, car rental, hotels, flights and everything -cake, food, drinks, destination, DJ, pastor, rodeo theme, cleanup- our wedding cost $6-7k.

Tips: buy wedding dress 2nd-hand and customize it yourself (or with your grandmother) to make it new and more special than from some dress store ($20 instead of $1000s), shop for deals w/vendors, don’t go crazy on cake or food (we had toco vendor), Drinks and most cake from Costco for a tasty great deal, get a cheep DJ and give clear instructions so they can’t mess up, have it at your favorite (picturesque) family member’s house and pay them a bit ($500 - not $10K similar venue for us), oversee set up and breakdown, use hotel timeshare pitch-deal for hotel stay but don’t buy the timeshare ($200 for 14 hotel days). And on (eg intro credit card deals, Groupon).
