"Happiness is a state of mind, but fun is something you can do. It doesn't require education, money or power. All it requires is intentionality. If happiness is a mirage, fun is your backyard oasis." - Dr. Mike Rucker
Regret (noun) - sorrow aroused by circumstances beyond one's control or power to repair.
We can’t make everyone happy. May our feelings of regret transform into peace. ❤️
As we grow, we learn that some of life’s battles are unavoidable and some are avoidable. A person choosing to avoid the difficulties in life they can control does not make them weak. If you have the option, make sure you choose the life you want and deserve.

The first day of Summer is fast approaching! (June 21) Have you done your Spring cleaning? And I’m not just talking about your physical home… Make changes to clean and clear your mind and spirit as well.
Make sure you’re pursuing your God given purpose. Not people. Not possessions. No matter how long it takes, what’s for you will always be for you! Better days are coming. ❤️ #KeepGoing
Although we must take care of our mental health every day, May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Keeping that in mind:
1. Do at least 1 act of kindness every day
2. Sincerely ask the people in your life how they’re doing
3. Show more vulnerability. Let others know how you feel.
Someone from years ago text me asking how I was doing. I didn’t respond. Today they text me the middle finger emoji. Smh lol Moral of the story: Protect your energy. Pay attention to how you feel. Toxicity & negativity have no place in your life. Don’t be afraid to let people go.
If it’s real, the simple things make the biggest impact on a relationship. The good mornings and good nights. The secret laughs together. The support of each other’s future. The devotion of time. The attention towards needs. The changes made for peace. #WaitUntilItsReal
No greater feeling than having a solid support system from people who love you, encourage you, and genuinely want what’s best for you. If you have one or two people like this in your life, you’re blessed ♥️.
Life and health are so fragile. It’s easy to forget until you or someone you love is sick. If you have someone who cares for you and your well-being (parent, partner, family member or friend), please cherish and thank them. That’s real love ❤️.
A couple days ago, I was explaining to my friend that women start breaking up mentally before you lose them physically. If you have a good one, listen to her before it’s too late.
