NEW: Border Collie in China with 1.5 million followers stolen, sold for $27 to a restaurant, and then eaten.
The dog's owner, a Chinese travel blogger named 'Guo,' documents his travels with his dog.
While he was away on an overseas trip, the dog disappeared while in the care of Guo's dad. Surveillance footage showed two people stealing the animal.
Guo was able to track down the thief and offered $1500 for the return of his dog, but was told the dog had been sold for $27 and eaten.
The thief says he thought the dog was a stray.
"The dog is dead, so stop making a fuss. I did not break the law," the man allegedly said.

@real_insight_1 My running theory is, this korean guy dressed as women in India psyop is to cover up this video and divert the hatred away from China and their dog eating habbit.
@airfilter32 We blocked tiktok and they are spreading fake info unchecked there. If we do the same here. They'll still continue. So, what should the government do?
Employ fact checkers and amplify their content or use bot farms for counter narrative?
@kaaliyug2 Here is my argument. Singapore can block to protect Singaporean citizens of Indian descent. What can India do? Block or fact check?
Because their narrative is to malign India internationally not within India. We blocked tiktok, they are spreading their fake videos unchecked there
@aravind Aravind, how to tackle this when Turkey, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Saudi, Qatar, Indonesia, America are involved?
Block the content or fact check proactively?
@aishaalsayed9 Fake video. The original video creator himself posted on social media about the misuse of his video to manipulate and spread hatred towards India.
@changesverse@dreamereuphoria@airfilter32 Now you want to pick and choose? A falsely accused male, dv of a male or male killed by female has lesser value than that of female?
"Rampant reality here", then it's your local state problem. Stop painting entire India with the same brush.
As if womens privilege is not a thing.
@DhH1294572@Appraiser008 He never did it in India. He did it in Vietnam and Bangladesh. The fake video claims he did it in India.
He went to play Holi and film it as a man and he enjoyed his time there. This is the video.https://t.co/Jc1TgpusrW
@wurenkongtianju@4JusticeFight@shayar_ka_khwab only his holi playing was from india, where he wasn't disguised & clearly enjoyed it, he's purposely made it private, but forgot to hide it from insta
@changesverse@dreamereuphoria@airfilter32 There are enough laws in the country to cripple any man these days just by filing a defamation or fake allegation. Society has come a long way. May be live in the present and exercise your rights. Stop defaming all men like a typical wannabe feminist.
@changesverse@dreamereuphoria@airfilter32 Delusional take. Your average dehat gawaar is not on this platform. Also when a molester cares less about law and order on ground, you think he would care about random international anons opinion on the internet? It people like you who would feel 2nd hand embarrassment for them.
@babloobhaiya3 Indian women breaking the stereotypical image of "India is not safe for women" and giving the world a practical example of the liberal values and constitutional freedom of India. We should amplify such videos to shut the mouths of racists folks who demean the country.
You go gurl
@aslicheen These is a huge surge of China, Hong Kong based accounts on X in the past 4 months. They are on a mission to target India constantly. Say China bad and you'll suddenly see a barrage of Chinese bots in the comments section.
Mind you X is banned in China
