@BiladelphiaPHLY @PHLY_Flyers If only we had the luxury of not having 50+ years of misery to look back on prior to this 8 game debacle.

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

@charlieo_conn No, but facts are facts. Right now, with their offense firing on all cylinders & this Flyers team D running on all flat tires, I don’t have high hopes the winless streak ends tonight. Tocchet’s constant tinkering reeks of desperation rather than a guy making moves with purpose.

@PHLY_Flyers The important thing is that they stick together.

@PHLY_Flyers Flyers fans:

@FlyersNation I’m literally shocked to see Tippett played 17 minutes. I didn’t see him or hear his name all game. Was that 17 minutes of filling water bottles or something?

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

@charlieo_conn Good thing he’s a winger. We were running low on them.

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

@charlieo_conn I hope we hear from everyone in the organization nonstop over the next 4 months how much they all heard the boos and it fueled them to get better.

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

@charlieo_conn We already didn’t have enough room for the guys ahead of him on the depth chart at wing. I’ve got nothing against Wilson, but this just seems like a weird move. And why not sign him to this two way deal to begin with if you wanted this option down the road?

Who’s this fuckin’ nerd? #IgniteTheOrange #RickTocchet #nerd

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

@charlieo_conn Mannn…he’s lookin’ goooooood…

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

Mannnnn…Michkov is lookin goooood… #LetsgoFlyers #MichkovMania #IgniteTheOrange

@tonyescargot And here’s your “50 goals in 50 games” version of Martone.

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

@BiladelphiaPHLY @PHLY_Flyers Led the team through one of the worst tragedies in franchise history when Lindbergh died. Unexpectedly stripped of the C and traded to Boston then immediately reaches another Stanley Cup Final with them. Clarke said it was the worst deal he ever made as GM.

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

@BiladelphiaPHLY @PHLY_Flyers He’s a Flyers HOF’er. Poulin went from undrafted FA, to successor to Clarke as captain after only 75 career GP, captain of two Cup Finalists, Selke winner…

[Doctor Slurp MD @DoctorSlurpMD]

@PHLY_Flyers In an alternate reality where Gauthier does not force his way out of Phila & is currently on the Flyers roster, do you think the Flyers still would have drafted Porter Martone in the draft considering they wouldn’t have needed another winger to backfill the hole left by Gauthier?
