Damage Control Notes

Overthinking the MCU for you.

Doctor Strange didn't pick the 1 in 14,000,605 timeline because it was the only way to beat Thanos. he picked it because it was the only timeline that got rid of both Thanos AND Tony Stark at the same time.

go back and watch how Strange talks to Tony on the ship. he realized early on that a guy smart enough to build Ultron and time travel in a weekend was eventually going to be a bigger threat to the multiverse than Thanos ever was.

Just notice how Cull Obsidian’s hammer and Mjölnir have the same enhancement, They both go back to their wielder after an attack

TONY STARK'S BIGGEST SECRET FINALLY EXPOSED IN VISIONQUEST

Tony Stark never built his own AI from scratch.

The first code was bought from Markridge Biotech. It is called Proto One, and it was created by Phileas Horton.

In episode 6, Katerina Wells says Stark gave them until midnight to accept his offer. She was talking about selling the base code to Stark Industries.

Proto One is the base code behind the AIs we know. That includes Ultron and Jocasta.

Even JARVIS was not Tony's invention. He took Horton's base code and added the consciousness of Edwin Jarvis.

So every AI in the MCU is built on the same foundation, and in that sense they are copies of each other but with different consciousness of different people

RT @FeetzNTreatz: Okayyyyy both this is something here. . .

I'd be all in on this theory if it was always intended for RDJ to be Doom.

[Damage Control Notes @DODCNotes]

@FeetzNTreatz People will obviously deny that, but there’s even proof on the Internet of Robert Downey Jr. and Marvel saying he casted as Dr. doom before Iron Man.. so who knows👀

[PopClave @Pop_Clave]

Things I am excited about in #DunePartThree

1. Hope they show a couple of battles Paul conquering 1000 worlds.

2. Does Paul fulfill his promise to Fremen "Green Paradise"

2. How will Chani fight against Paul(Emperor) for Fremen and her children.

3. How Princess Irulan(Florence Pugh) thread through Paul for her own survival.

4. There is difference background score made for Part 3, I liked the music more in Parts 1 and 2. Hope they keep same experience.

5. What happens to Jessica, Alia and others.

@abeyarrrrrr cant wait for doom!

[chhavi💫 @abeyarrrrrr]

What's your thought on Dr Doom and The Avengers?

[7 @Perfekt_Shawn]

Wait, how is this possible? Damage Control literally confiscated Stark’s entire tech infrastructure and E.D.I.T.H. in No Way Home.
If the spell bypassed AI, Damage Control would’ve had Peter’s identity on file the whole time. The spell clearly erased the code too

[Damage Control Notes @DODCNotes]

@Ben_XI0 he let the weight carry him

[Ben Ten @Ben_XI0]

If Mjolnir drops to the ground whenever an unworthy person touches it, directly or indirectly, then how was Spider-Man able to keep flying while indirectly touching Mjolnir in Avengers: Endgame ?

[Damage Control Notes @DODCNotes]

@oluwaseun7g its true hes done alot of bad but he always has good intentions and id cut him some slack hes really out here trying his best to save the world without him it would be gone already

[𝐎𝐥𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐧 @oluwaseun7g]

If we’re being real, Tony Stark literally created Ultron, Mysterio, Vulture, and Aldrich Killian.

So can someone explain why the MCU fandom treats him as an infallible savior when he was the root cause of 80% of Earth’s problems? That’s probably why Doctor Strange had to pick the one timeline where Iron Man dies before he could create another villain who wipes out mankind.

In VisionQuest, Vision saying that only Bruce Banner and Tony Stark could fix his injuries rubbed me the wrong way.

What about Dr. Helen Cho? She was the scientist who developed the Regeneration Cradle and created the synthetic living tissue used to build Vision’s body in Age of Ultron.

Tony and Bruce helped bring Vision to life, but Helen’s technology was fundamental to his creation. Without her work, the Vision we know might never have existed in the first place.

And it’s not just Vision. Helen also helped treat Clint Barton’s injuries, yet the MCU has barely explored her scientific potential since Age of Ultron.

How do you introduce a scientist capable of creating advanced synthetic living tissue and then practically leave her out of the story?

Helen Cho deserves far more recognition in the MCU. If VisionQuest is exploring Vision’s identity, body and humanity, wouldn’t bringing back the scientist who helped create him make perfect sense?

It’s easy to gloss over because the scene moves so fast, but the writing here relies heavily on Wakanda’s security suddenly slipping just so the villain faction can make a big dramatic entrance.

They spent the whole first half of the film establishing Wakanda’s impenetrable radar and defense systems, only for an airborne assault to completely catch them off guard in broad daylight.

It’s a bit of a lazy narrative crutch to force the conflict into the open, but I can't even lie, the visual spectacle of the boarding move makes it hard to hate on.
