@nascarfan242015@AmericanAir Instead many of us were left with 50+ hours of delays and cancellations with zero vouchers. And employees left saying sorry, I cannot do anything for vouchers.
@kpottermn And each one of those delays is actually 10 more. Delayed continuously for 12 hours until they eventually cancel so that each delay only counts as 1.
@AmericanAir The nightmare is over. Thanks to one pilot who commandeered flight crew from other cancelled flights. Finished with 5 total cancellations, 15+ delays, and a sprint across the terminal to catch the last seats on the last flight to Tampa…50 hrs later…never again @AmericanAir
Never flying @AmericanAir again. Totally understand weather delays impacting flights. Can’t understand why they continue to rebook flights that they will then cancel due to “weather.” Cost me a hotel stay in Chicago and now a whole day in the airport…
@AmericanAir Still zero resolution after the DM. AND STILL STUCK IN O’HARE! 4 cancellations, 4 delays. Just rebook for a flight that will actually make it so I can quit wasting my time in the airport!
@AmericanAir I hope @AmericanAir spends some time reevaluating their contingency plans. On top of the delays, which we know can happen, there was zero customer service. Equipping your team with updated information and ability to offer meal/hotel vouchers, would have made all the difference.
@chriskager@AmericanAir From what I’ve seen at O’Hare. This is very accurate. Other airlines appear to be business as usual. While American continues to royally botch their recovery efforts and offer zero customer service support.
