Formed in the early 90s, Dodleston CC currently play in Division 3 of the Chester & District Midweek League.

Bit of a hammering for us tonight at home to Llay. Chasing 192 we fell well short, probably the best batting line up we've come up against so fair play to Llay 👏

Good win for us tonight against Kinnerton, played at Northop. 3 wins from 4 now!
Some great all round performances with bat and ball, we hit 175-4 and bowled Kinnerton out for 91. E Colclough 50* and plenty of bowlers picking up 2-3 wickets 👏

Back to winning ways tonight at home to West Cheshire College!
We restricted them to 106-6 which we chased down without loss, J Layder 50* and P Booth 45* 👏 🏏

Defeat for us tonight away against Defib played at Hawarden CC.

We hit 144-3 with A Bayley 51*. Defib chased it down in the 18th over 4 down. Good effort from us playing with only 9 but we fell a bit short!

Nice to start the season with a win! Westminster Park hit 153, we chased it down with a couple of overs to spare, finishing 154-1. Good game and great all round performance including P Booth and E Colclough both 50* 👏

Great game tonight at @parkcricket unfortunately with us on the losing side! We hit 145, after a good start we were a bit short as @parkcricket finished 146-8 with 1 ball to spare. On to next season 😅

Good all round performance from us tonight away against Defib to pick up our first win in a while! We hit 166-0 with J Wundke and P Booth both 50*. Defib finished 112-6

Mad game tonight against @LlayWelfareCC... We scored 112-5 which we didn't feel was enough. A really good bowling performance from us meant they needed 1 off the last ball... which ended with a run out and a tied game!

We picked up our 3rd win last night in a close game v Defib! We started well with them 30-4 off 10 overs, but they went on to post 123-6 off their 20. In a similar way we were 42-3 off 10, but chased it down finishing 124-4 in the 19th

Our 2nd game of the season last night and another win for us away at Burton. We posted 144-8 which we felt wasn't enough but a good effort with the ball restricted them to 127-7

Good start to the season for us last night with a win against Westminster Park. They batted first scoring 148, we chased it down 149-3 in the 19th. 3 lads making their debut chipping in with runs/wickets and E Colclough 52* 👏

End of season beers... Another close game v Cross Keys, this time we were on the losing side! They set us 143, we finished short on 131-4. Played in good spirits as it should be 🏏 🍺

Good win for us last night in a close game against Cross Keys.
We hit 141-2 (E Colclough and J Wundke both 50*), Cross Keys fell short finishing 127-6
1 game left next Wednesday, at home to Cross Keys!

Nice to see Kinnerton took the defeat well. We've struggled for players for pretty much every game this season hence our results. They forgot to mention we only had 9 players when we beat them (6 regulars and 3 lads who helped us out from Northop) 😅
