Went on a date with a guy way younger than me last night

He picked the restaurant based on my food allergies (asked in advance so there'd be zero stress).

Showed up seven minutes early.

Pulled my chair out, then acted totally normal about it, like it wasn't a whole performance.

Ordered a bottle of wine and let me pick it.

Told me a genuinely embarrassing story about himself in the first twenty minutes just to make me laugh.

We walked to get ice cream after and he carried both cones so I could put my coat on.

No "so are we gonna..." energy at any point.

Just talked about our families, our worst jobs, a trip he wants to take someday.

Dropped me at my door, said he had a great time, didn't try to invite himself up....
