@YuNoOriginal@ServicesGovAU Exactly what happened to me too - claim process is all about making sure you experienced a "loss of income", I showed that I lost income by answering the questions appropriately, and the rejection letter said I "didn't experience a loss of income".
@ServicesGovAU I received a "Rejected" email in my MyGov, stating that I "did not experience a loss of income". I DID - I answered the relevant questions to show I lost a whole weekend of income due to cancelled events! This is huge as I only work weekends as an event contractor!
@dogbitedog2@PantherMike182 Hello, Mike, Flower? Come on you two, where's your sense of conviction?? This is all a hoax, right?? Convince us with your evidence!
The irony is you've learned a bit more about the ACTUAL weather, so you know to wait a few more days before its "safe" to cry "hoax"! XD
@dogbitedog2@PantherMike182 Hey Mr Flower Child, I'm sitting here by candle light without power for the longest time in my life drove 2 suburbs away to get ice to save all the freezer meat and am about to drive again to mooch off a friend to charge devices before I get flooded in, pretty convincing hoax!
@PantherMike182 I'm lying awake, still without power, wondering what I'm going to have for breakfast without heat, and thinking of your stupid dumb ass post in the face of all the photos of downed trees inside houses and cars, wasting my battery power to come and ridicule your dumb ass.
@dogbitedog2@PantherMike182 I'm sure some of you loonies who are not even in the path of the cyclone posted a bit here and there, but it's really funny to see all the big talk come out now that the cyclone has blown over. Real brave!
@PantherMike182@RozzieVox Also, the GC isn't rated for such a storm like the far north is, the trees that will come down, the building damage that could happen, was very real. You have to take a "better safe than sorry" approach with this. You're only "all talk" now that it's over.
@PantherMike182@RozzieVox Wrong. It was ORIGINALLY modeled to potentially be a cat 2 by the time it hit, especially if you follow Higgins Storm Chasing (independant, not MSM) it was the BOM that was lagging behind in warnings - if the goverment wanted fearmongering, that would be the OTHER WAY AROUND.
@benbfoxx Fake post. It ended for the GC and Byron last night. And this post was made in the morning after, just 30 mins ago. Also it never got this bad in the GC. The purpose of this post is to make all the real posts seem fake too. But we've all seen the real footage. Fooling nobody.

@rajvishah30@RichaaaaSingh The common analogy some years ago was one poisoned M&M in a bowl of M&Ms. It was being used to explain to men how women feel interacting with men. Years later, when we need to talk about how safe men feel around women, the analogy has been entirely forgotten.
@AlphaLegion101@jondot@ID_AA_Carmack That's purely an emotional need. Python is already employed in many areas and runs just fine. Often using wrapper libraries that are built on C++ anyway to do the heavy lifting. Eg. PyGame is built on SDL.
@AlphaLegion101@jondot@ID_AA_Carmack No, not completely different domains. The guy was comparing, so obviously in his use cases that he is considering, they can both do what he wants. If I'm writing my simple invoice generator, I'm doing that in Python PySimpleGUI, and being done with it a lot quicker.
