@ZackPolanski Great news mate, well done 👏
Don’t forget to build all the required new homes on existing brownfield sites -the data obtained from local authorities by the CPRE has proven this can be achieved. Protect our beautiful landscape ❤️
@RachelReevesMP Simple answer, - windfall tax on Energy and oil companies . A clear cut hypothecated tax, that benefits the ‘working people’ you pretend to care about. In reality you are protecting the wealth of the corporations. A true capitalist in socialist clothing.
@SteveReedMP There was a lot more land in the post war period . We had a population of around 38M. With 70M now to house, we need to be clever, sustainable and environmentally friendly. Developers won’t protect our natural resources, habitats & farmland . They have the ear of the govt.
@SteveReedMP While you entertain housing developers & act as their facilitators to build on greenbelt land? They build where they make the most profit, not where they’re needed. It has been proven that all 1.5M homes can be built on brownfield . Stop destroying nature, farmland & floodplains!
@TheGreenParty@ZackPolanski All great social policies that need addressing. You have to be honest with people,- you are no longer the Green Party. I cannot see you highlighting one environmental policy? Do you know of any? Are you witnessing the industrialisation of our country? Read up on embodied carbon .
@TheGreenParty Congratulations. Can I ask what’s happened to the ‘green policies’ ? It seems real environmental issues have been allocated as a lower priority. Progressive social policies are important but there is no clear or radical ideas that really value or protect our most valuable asset.
