@danbardell Lovely stuff. Memory making. Enjoy every moment, and hopefully a Villa win.
Villa fans were class when they came to Bern against YB, and I hope they love Istanbul (another of my adopted cities).
Good luck!
@HLTCO My biggest complaint about VAR is that fans in the stadium don't have a clue what is going on.
I asked IFAB if leagues could show replays on the screens and they said yes.
I asked the Swiss League (I'm an YB fan) when they will do so and they have no answer.
@Rainmaker1973 Fun fact.
They own subsidiary markets that do sell booze and tobacco.
This preserves the image of their flagship brand whilst allowing them to profit off cigarettes and alcohol.
@FootballSwissEN A massive, massive achievement. Congrats to FC Thun.
Thoroughly deserved. They've been very, very good.
Hope they enjoy the massive party!
@WolfofX Thank you for sharing this.
One of my brothers was several years older and one of my core memories of him was the 'paycheck/payslip' he put for me at the end of a week accompanying him on building sites.
He's gone now.
The memory isn't.
There was a plan for this boy never to be born, for my own children never to be born, for any of our children never to be born. Their laughter is our greatest revenge.
@sidlowe Going beyond 90' is so simple, yet why do so few clubs do it?
My club - YB in ๐จ๐ญ- shows replays, but not of opposition goals. I sort of admire the pettiness, but it is actually really frustrating!
And no VAR replays - because who cares about fans in the ground....
@Barbara4003 Because the people who run football are incompetent, clueless, yet cycnical, fools who don't care about actual fans at all.
So long as the TV audience is catered for by their fabricated nonsense then they are happy.
VAR and @IFAB are a stain on the modern game
