@hilz2teach Thanks! I think the buy-in to history is the best part. As I walk across campus, kids sai “hi” and ask “what are we’re doing today?” I endeavor to make history their fun and interesting class.

My first week included U.S. history trivia in table groups of 5 kids (I teach 8th U.S. history.) Upbeat music is blared in the room as they discuss, dance, and cheer their knowledge. It is great for team building & history lessons between questions...and for me to listen in.
