Nintendo says it’s working on new ways to fight Pokémon card scalpers after many fans struggled to buy new releases.
At Nintendo’s annual shareholder meeting, president Shuntaro Furukawa said the company is aware that demand is still higher than supply, even though The Pokémon Company printed around 10 billion Pokémon cards in 2025.
Furukawa said Nintendo is working with The Pokémon Company to help get cards into the hands of real fans instead of resellers.
“Nintendo also communicates with The Pokémon Company as needed to discuss appropriate ways to deliver products to consumers. We believe that The Pokémon Company will continue to take measures to respond to this issue.”
@PlayStation The community notes will keep coming back you greedy scumfuck fuckers. We all hate you and you deserve it all. Resign from your positions of you don't like how your shit choices and actions are playing out.
YES: Mamdani's administration just funded New York City's first-ever pet food pantry program.
$750,000 in the FY2027 budget, specifically to help pet owners who can't afford food for their animals. Another $750,000 goes toward affordable spay/neuter services. $1.5 million total, aimed at keeping people and their pets together.
Here's why it matters: NYC animal shelters took in over 16,000 animals last year. Nearly 10,000 were strays. Another 6,500 were owner surrenders — people who loved their pets but couldn't afford to feed them or get them basic vet care, and had to give them up.
Animal welfare advocates had been pushing for this for years, asking for $15.3 million to fully fund pantries, spay/neuter clinics in every borough, and a real animal welfare office. They got a fraction of the ask, But it's the first time the city has put dedicated dollars behind the idea at all.
No family should have to choose between rent and feeding their family — pets included. This is a start.
Sony has crossed all the lines with this: PlayStation will close your account and you will lose all your games if you do not log in for 3 years, and the media remain silent about it; the media are not your friends.

“This generation will not be defined by its great games or incredible tech, but rather by corporate greed, mismanagement, and anti-consumer practices.”
