So many horrible acts of senseless violence in the last 48 hours.
The murder of students at Brown University… the antisemitic attack and killing of Jewish people in Australia… and now, reports of the heartbreaking death of filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife Michele, allegedly at the hands of their own son.

Of course, it was only three months ago that Charlie Kirk was assassinated—another shocking reminder of the dark and violent times we live in.

What a crazy and evil world we live in. The devil seems to be working overtime.

As Jesus said of him, “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy.”
But then Jesus added, “I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

In these scary and tragic times, we need to call out to God. Pray that the Lord will send a mighty spiritual awakening across our land and around the world.

And we need to tell people—especially during this Christmas season—that there is a God in Heaven who loves them so much He sent His Son Jesus to be born in a manger, to die on a cross, and to rise again from the dead.

Jesus left His home in Heaven so we could have a home in Heaven.
Jesus was born so we could be born again.

One of the biggest deceptions that's taught in Christianity, is that "Being a 'good' person, or doing 'good works' will get you into Heaven." The Thief on the Cross debunks that notion. He put his faith in Jesus at the last second, while hanging on a cross, and Jesus said "Today I'll see you in paradise (Heaven) The Thief never had a chance to come down off the cross and do good works, he was not what you'd call a "good person" yet, his FAITH in Jesus gained him eternity in Heaven with Jesus. Only true faith and total surrender to Jesus will get you into Heaven. the Bible says "All our righteousness is as filthy rags in the sight of God." Of course you should live your life to serve others, but that alone will not grant you eternity with the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Charlie Kirk, a name synonymous with having the courage to speak what you believe and seek/welcome conversations with those whom you disagree with.

I’m not a political person but I am a proud American citizen and today was startling, saddening, and maddening all at the same time.. I’ve realized that I’m a bit naive to how crazy it all has become but watching a man get hunted and slayed in broad daylight because of his opinions made me disgusted and devastated.

This can’t be what we actually are or become as a country.. I believe that the good people will always outnumber the evil people but damn… today was an alarming day in our country’s history.

2 kids lost a dad.. a wife lost a husband.. and societal discourse lost a voice.
