Tomorrow, Thursday September 24th at 12:50 pm est, I will seek unanimous consent to pass the Connected Vehicle Security Act.

This bill will ensure that automobiles produced, controlled, or owned beyond a safe threshold by companies domiciled in foreign entities of concern are prohibited from entering the US. Those nations are Russia, Iran, North Korea, and China.

In the case of China, the CCP has created an historic level of overcapacity so overwhelming that they have become subsidized predators sending automotive fentanyl all of the world. In doing so, they are enabling the industrial suicide of the nations whose leaders are incompetent enough to allow them into their countries.

Beyond that catastrophic result, these automobiles are roving surveillance devices - that the CCP requires by its own laws - be sent to Beijing. Where you drive, what you see, who is in the car, all captured by high definition videos. Flock cameras on steroids in the hands of the CCP! As if that’s not bad enough, these vehicles can be remotely controlled, including acceleration, braking, and steering all outside of the driver’s control. Total and complete insanity.

I can’t imagine ANY American who cares about our economic security or our national security would object to the immediate passage of this bill. The idea that someone who is ELECTED to protect America from its enemies would object is beyond my comprehension.

BREAKING: Democrats on the Senate Homeland Security Committee just blocked a Republican effort to offer immunity to a former Dr. Fauci assistant in exchange for her testimony. She has been accused of destroying government documents on Fauci's behalf. Only one Democrat showed up to the meeting (Sen. Hassan D-NH), the other six voted no by proxy. All eight Republicans showed up.

The resolution required a two-thirds vote to pass and it failed 8-7 along party lines.

The unnamed former Fauci assistant previously pleaded the Fifth Amendment before the committee and refused to answer any questions, hence the GOP effort to offer her immunity from prosecution in exchange for her testimony.

Republicans on the committee blasted their Democratic colleagues for not showing up, and for "having no interest in the truth."

Chairman @RandPaul (R-KY): "There's no principal reason to vote against giving her immunity, the only reason is that you don't want her to answer, and you do not want to know the truth."

Sen: @RonJohnsonWI (R-WI): "I do not want to see Anthony Fauci's assistant go to jail. I want the truth. I think it's pretty obvious today, we only have one Democrat here, we're not going to get it."

A landmark Finnish study has found a sharp rise in psychiatric illness among adolescents following sex-alteration procedures.

The peer-reviewed study, published in Acta Paediatrica, tracked every young person under 23 who contacted Finland's gender clinics between 1996 and 2019.

A total 2,083 individuals were studied, with 16,643 matched controls. They were followed for up to 25 years.

Finland's health registers are mandatory, which means no one opts out — this is the complete national picture.

The numbers: psychiatric morbidity rose from 9.8% to 60.7% in adolescents who underwent feminising reassignment, and from 21.6% to 54.5% in masculinising reassignment.

Even after adjusting for prior psychiatric history, gender-referred adolescents faced five times the risk of male population controls, and three times the risk of female controls.

"Psychiatric needs do not subside after medical gender reassignment," the authors concluded.

Referrals after 2010 arrived sicker. 47.9% had already needed psychiatric treatment before their first clinic visit, against 15.3% among controls.

The authors' read: for some adolescents, gender distress may be secondary to other mental health challenges.

The evidence keeps mounting. The silencing continues anyway.
