EYES DON CLEAR!!
If you haven’t listened to Akinwumi Adesina’s interview with Rufai Oseni on Arise TV, please do so. I just streamed the full interview, & I’m speechless. Akin is such a force, he is a man of statistics as well. He regurgitated everything that Peter Obi has been saying; everything.
“1. Nigeria must invest in its people.
2. Africa cannot develop with aide.
3. We have the resources in the soil.
4. Trump says it’s AMERICA FIRST.
I don’t have a problem with that.
5. I don’t believe we should beg our way to development. We must develop with pride.
6. Africa has 65% of arable land to feed the world. It’s not in Asia, not in America, not in China. It’s not in any other part of the world.
7. When we have 477 million young people below the age of 35, why should I be worried?
8. The largest renewable sources of energy are in Africa, why should I be worried (when it has to do with energy transition globally)?
8. On electric vehicles: Take lithium batteries for example. Everything you need; from platinum, to cobalt, to graphite, copper & everything you need are in Africa.
9. DRC accounts for 90% of global platinum for mobile phones, lithium batteries. Electric car market will be worth $59 Trillion by 2050. Develop your own manufacturing capacity, so that you’re not selling the raw materials.
10. If I’m selling semi-conductors to you, if I’m something you need; it’s very difficult for you to just wake up, & wave me around like that. The lesson is for African nations to industrialize, & make its purchasing power very high.”
Akin is basically saying FROM CONSUMPTION TO PRODUCTION. That was a Pan Africanist speaking. He is pro-Africa through & through.
Akin is an advocate of purchasing power, AKA (HDI). He said so much, I can’t possibly remember everything now. You guys need to stop the relationship, soups, bigotry & gender wars, & begin to have these conversations.
Africa is on borrowed time, we are in the dying minutes of a unequal match. The world truly left Nigeria behind, we are now a laughing stock globally. Nigerians should be led by the likes of Akin, NOI, Obi; but hey, “let’s continue with the stupid tribalism & the reckless foolishness.”
Nigeria is a goldmine. We have all that we need inside the soil to be great. But we need the focused leadership, who are less corrupt, & people-centric. We need people of integrity (global icons) that will put Nigerians first.
Enough with the Politicking & the Government of Politicians only. Haven’t y’all had enough?
NIGERIANS WAKE UP!
JUST IN: The Amotekun security outfit in Ondo State has deported at least 114 individuals, primarily from the northern region of Nigeria, over allegations of illegal entry into the state's forests.

Still on my Indonesia trip that I promised to share my experience with you.
Wednesday and Thursday were as fruitful as Monday and Tuesday.
My first meeting was with Indonesia’s Minister of Health, Mr. Budi Gunadi Sadikin. The object was to discuss the country’s advancements in universal health coverage.
Indonesia’s National Health Insurance Program (JKN) now covers about 98% of the population, ensuring accessible healthcare, especially for the poor and vulnerable.
Minister Sadikin emphasized preventive care as the most effective public health strategy, aiming to reduce disease burdens through proactive measures.
The government fully subsidizes premiums for low-income individuals and is aggressively expanding the training of primary health workers, even in rural villages, to ensure truly inclusive healthcare.
Next, I met with Prof. Dr Nunuk Survani and her team at the Ministry of Education. We discussed Indonesia's educational system, which serves about 50 million pupils at the basic education level with over 3 million teachers.
To maintain high standards, all teachers are required to have a degree and teachers professional certification. With the strict implementation of its compulsory basic education policy, Indonesia has achieved a 99% school enrollment rate, significantly addressing the issue of out-of-school children.
With 20% of its annual budget allocated to education, Indonesia prioritizes a critical pillar of national development.
As we all know, the more educated a country is, the more developed it becomes. At the tertiary level, Indonesia has over 4,000 universities, while Nigeria has less than 10% of that—despite having a population that is about 80% of Indonesia’s.
Based on this ratio, we should have at least 1,000 universities.
Finally, I concluded the second session with a meeting at Indonesia’s Ministry of MSMEs, which focuses on an extensive support framework for micro, small, and medium-sized businesses.
MSMEs in Indonesia contribute 61% to GDP and employ 97% of the workforce, making them a critical component of economic growth and development. The ministry, through its agencies, provides mentorship, training, equipment, and financial support.
A significant portion of the total bank loans—about $20 billion—is dedicated to MSMEs at an interest rate of 3% to 6%, with the government covering the differential from the commercial loan rate of 12% to 13%.
This contrasts with our situation in Nigeria, where the total loans available to over 40 million SMEs are less than 10% of what is allocated in Indonesia, compounded by several other negatively impacting environmental factors.
These meetings have been invaluable in highlighting Indonesia’s commitment to advancing healthcare, education, and economic growth.
Indonesia stands as a learning model for developing nations.
Indeed, a new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
Dear @elonmusk please give your voice to the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The Nigerian government kidnapped him from Kenya and detained him for years.
He is agitating for the self-determination of Biafra.
He is a British citizen. But, the UK government hasn’t done enough …

We will commence the renovation and refurbishing of Ozuitem Community Secondary School, Abia State on the 17th of February. This is estimated to take us 4 weeks.
The school is quite large, and so we may not be able to fix everywhere. These places will give the current 363 students and more a very convenient place to take their lessons and excel in life. We will also tidy up the entire school and imbibe the culture of cleanliness in the students.
We will experience a little bit challenge with water because the school and its environ has no borehole of any sort.
Someone from X has offered us his lovely home for the period and we appreciate it. We have engaged him and everything is good to go.
Join us in making a difference! Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to providing more children with the learning environment they deserve.
We will appreciate if you donate

I owe an apology to Idi Amin, Jean Bedel Bokassa, Hastings Kamuzu Banda, and every other African dictator I have ever mocked for acting out the "African strongman" stereotype.
None of them ever came anywhere close to oyibo's level of strongman dictatorship. I was bamboozled and misled.
They Lied About Dada.
"If I ask what you know about the great African, Idi Amin Dada, I know some of you will say, he was a cannibal and a murderous dictator.
For a very long time, the reputation of this great African has been shredded.
Movies were made to demonize him, the western media portrayed him in the most negative image. Even the leadership of Uganda that was foisted on the country by the CIA after Idi Amin, took part in lying against him.
Idi Amin's crime was that he kicked the Europeans and Asians out of Uganda. He stopped the exploitation of Uganda...he gave Uganda back to the rightful owners. He was not corrupt! He had no swiss bank accounts. He had no houses or assets in the west. He was an African that wanted the best for Africans. He was committed to Africa.
Under Idi Ami, Uganda’s trade balance became positive, with the value of the country's exports largely exceeding it’s imports-- a feat that is rare in Africa; it didn’t happen even under colonialism and has never again happened since he left the country. Uganda had no national debt under Amin. He paid for every thing the government purchased and Uganda lived within its means. The currency was stable (one US Dollar was equal to 7 Uganda Shilling whereas after his departure the Ugandan currency depreciated until today, one dollar is equal to 3700 Uganda shillings).
Amin sent tens of thousands of Ugandans abroad for technical training and higher education so that indigenous Ugandans could handle all aspects of public administration, health, education, industry and business. His government invested in new industries and self help projects under cooperative unions for rural communities across the country so as to provide jobs and incomes, plus uplift the standards of living in rural Uganda.
He personally promoted tourism and worked towards preservation of Uganda’s rich wildlife where he would invite foreign journalists for tours -- flying them in on Ugandan Airlines, another initiative of President Amin.
Dada, just like Thomas Sankara are African heroes. What western imperialism can't control, it tries to destroy. This is what has happened to Dada"
Iyo.
