Saw our first turkeys move in about 5 years ago. Just the occasional hen. Now we are seeing flocks of them. The season opens in Montana on Friday. @AverageHunter

My son in law got his first rifle bull after 10 weekends of hard hunting on public land in Montana. It was a awesome day and I was blessed to be with him every step of the way, but the pack out about killed me. @AverageHunter #trophytuesday

@mrstar01 @JenniPrickett @AverageHunter You don’t have to go all the way to Kodiak (but it’s worth it) I would plan on about $3,000 a head for a basic trip. If you stay in SE Alaska and use the ferry system to get there from Seattle you can cut that cost some. We get halibut off WA & OR. The cost is much less

I met a Master Chief on a flight last night. Told him my grandfather was the second E-9 ever in the USCG. Explained I still had his uniform but had lost this pin. He gave me his to complete the uniform. Thanks again to you chief @USCG #semperparatus
