FUNDING … Namibia has signed a financing agreement with China for a grant worth N$486 million to support development projects across the country. The agreement was signed in Windhoek on Thursday by National Planning Commission director general Kaire Mbuende and China's ambassador to Namibia, Zhao Weiping.
The funds will be used for priority projects under Namibia’s sixth National Development Plan, including the construction and expansion of schools, improvements to healthcare services and water supply projects.
