@ToonHive Just saw it and spoiler free comment: it was a really good and satisfying end to the series, cried a couple times. Audience was also full of fans with merch/in costumes but everyone had good cinema etiquette
@riordanzz Could create funny easter eggs, for example Cooper's new character reading a newspaper and saying "dude this dead billionaire Ian guy looks just like me"
This weekend was one for the box office history books.
A24’s “Backrooms” collected a record-breaking $81 million in its opening weekend. That’s as ticket sales for the Focus Features breakout “Obsession” jumped again in its third frame with $26.4 million and crossed the $100 million mark domestically. Both movies were directed by YouTube stars and cost nearly nothing to produce, upending conventional wisdom about the necessary components for a hit. https://t.co/M1XLZt5SBb
@Mutant_Menace@FilmUpdates yea he's called The Older Gentleman he directs almost everything in hollywood, don't believe the BTS footage or cast/crew propaganda
@prettysadpetals@FilmUpdates gotchu, "Anything but Ghosts" already wrapped filming, written and directed by Curry featuring Aaron Paul and Bryce Dallas Howard (but i do kinda want more One Wish Wallow stories)
@EddiePavisic for me, it clicked when Nikki had a moment of clarity and Bear asked "is it so bad to love me?" Those scenes make the ending so much better
@loljamethan@thebitchinthetv yea i just rewatched Send Help yesterday and Obsession today
Obsession felt like much more of a good classic "horror", and the pacing + ending of Obsession felt overall more satisfying but Send Help acting was better; to each their own (i liked both)
@jayjjalen nahh i don't think so, bombsight handed over the syringe before the blast.
Also if the blast fries the V in your system, my understanding is that it gets burned up/dissipates, but we clearly see the blue V1 after.
Maybe I'm wrong but Homelander defo had a reaction to using it
