A special delivery brought an unexpected surprise for FDNY EMS members outside Elmhurst Hospital in Queens on Friday night.
On Oct. 23, FDNY Paramedics Michelle Marino and Margot Loth, along with EMT Jesse Mattera, helped welcome a baby boy into the world after an Uber driver alerted Paramedic Marino that a passenger was in distress.
After quickly recognizing the woman was in active labor, the members worked together to safely assist her onto a stretcher, where Paramedic Marino helped deliver the baby boy just steps away from the hospital. Both mother and baby were stabilized before being brought into Elmhurst Hospital for further evaluation.
Our members are always thinking quickly, working together, and dedicated to caring for New Yorkers during life's most unexpected moments.
@therealcheezy19@isaac0302413569@HoldenCCole Is Isaiah 44:8 about Peter’s faith also, or does it describe the faith of the Church, or does it describe God as the rock? It seems as though the two verses are very much related, but not exactly the same. I don’t see this verse as proving your point absolutely.
@therealcheezy19@isaac0302413569@HoldenCCole Aren’t you disagreeing with Jesus himself at this point? If Jesus named him “Peter” “rock” and then says “upon this rock I will build my church” I think it’s pretty strait forward no? Calling him satan to point out undesirable behavior is different than changing his name no?

Abortion is not health care.
Abortion is a devastating loss of life.
A death sentence.
Pronounced by a desperate or dismissive mother.
Carried out by a diabolical physician and industry capitalizing on darkness.
It is not something to be protected and promoted.
The UFA honors retired FDNY Firefighter Kenneth J. Klipp of Ladder 147, whose 2020 passing has now been officially recognized as a WTC-related illness death.
A 30-year FDNY veteran, he served in the 9/11 rescue and recovery efforts.
We Will Never Forget.
@RascalRhett1@BryanKemper Why does the child need to pay with his/her life because of the sins of the father? If something terrible like that happened to a loved one and you went out and killed the rapist, you’d be prosecuted for it no? The child is innocent, how is his/her life ended with impunity?
@RascalRhett1@BryanKemper It has every right to use the woman’s body. That’s how it’s been since the beginning of time and she probably had a hand in putting the baby in there. Do you ever stop to question how you could believe something so ridiculous?
11 years ago today, Delta Force operator MSG Joshua Wheeler was killed leading the charge during a pre-dawn raid to rescue roughly 70 hostages from an ISIS prison compound in Iraq.
A 20-year Army veteran who rose from the 75th Ranger Regiment into the unit’s most demanding roles, Wheeler repeatedly exposed himself to heavy enemy fire when the assault stalled, helping breach the compound and keep the mission alive until he was mortally wounded. He was the first American service member killed in direct combat against ISIS.
A husband and father of four from Roland, Oklahoma, he completed numerous combat deployments during his career and earned 11 Bronze Stars (four with Valor devices) plus a posthumous Silver Star.
Quiet, relentless, and unwilling to leave anyone behind, Wheeler embodied the quiet professionalism of the operators who take the hardest missions.
Never forgotten.
Remember our @NYPD9Pct brother, Ptl. Gerald Murphy, who made the ultimate sacrifice on this day in 1970 after he was fatally shot while taking off-duty action to stop a robbery in Manhattan. He is never forgotten. #FidelisAdMortem
Remember our @NYPD63Pct brother, Ptl. Joseph Meaders, who made the ultimate sacrifice on this day in 1972 after he was fatally struck by an oil delivery truck while driving his police motorcycle in Brooklyn. He is never forgotten. #FidelisAdMortem
