@esterezw Lol, try the health system. Then try the legal system when things go wrong. Let us know how you feel about their flavour of democracy feels after 10 years in the country. The trinket thingsyou're apparently impressed with are pale in comparison to what developed countries offer.
@Phil6gbrt@russeurope It's not like our friend Jacques pushes a very politicised, economic philosophical agenda at all - basically one of MAXIMUM state control.
@BridgewaterPine@yonibjorn 150k on a single salary gets you a squat in Bermondsey after the 45% straight tax, before council tax and rates. And for that salary you're looking at snr finance jobs (fund manager, buy side trader, distribution). There's little margin for savings. Everyone is on the commute.
@meitingting10 Indians have brown slop, the Chinese have red slop, ultimately it's all slop.
You're lucky your husband:
1) isn't dead from eating that
2) hasn't left you.
@chachaMamaTaya@XueJia24682 Not really. I work for a blue chip, UK company. I've encountered a number of Chinese grads and they are from a mold. When you scratch the surface they are the same. In some cases they are dubious. They are extremely cheap by UK standards. That does not equate to good.
@BowesChay The state of you. You can't even go back to your home country you're that reviled. Joke journalism is putting it mildly. When this is all said and done people will remember. You know this, you're literally just hanging on.
@BowesChay Bit like the old IRA warnings. You know, the terrorists you used to advocate for. But not the provisional IRA guys, they just bombed families and children. Now, if Russia kill a load of innocent people tomorrow (for whatever reason) you'd be celebrating.
@jonnytickle Watch your wallet dude. To quote Star Wars: "wretched hive of scum and villainy". That's all I remember of the place. Epic countryside though, exotic food too. Tried to do business there once. Epic corruption.
If the problem is you're borrowing too much, that arises because you're spending too much. If you're spending too much, you must reduce your spending...It's a very silly person that says, "I'm going bankrupt the way I am but I can't afford to cut so don't ask me."
[...]
You know 30% of the people in council houses have higher household incomes than 45% of the people in owner-occupied homes. And yet, the people in the owner-occupied homes are having to subsidise some of that 30%.
You don't cut subsidies to those people who need them. The trouble now is they're right across the board.
And where do subsidies come from? Not from the government, but out of the taxpayers' pocket.
@BrianMcDonaldIE Not really is it really though? Epic amounts of repo, high policy rate and the reported inflation rate of close to a third of the policy rate. Russia is and always was a petrostate. Regardless of what you read the math ain't mathing. You post remarks from Sept.
@BowesChay@georgegalloway You're track record is a disgrace. From my memory, you supported terrorist organisations in the past. You see people (particularly children) simply just fodder. I really hope the weather has had you added to the appropriate lists and when all is said and done you "day" comes.
@BowesChay@georgegalloway What were they doing Chay? How did they get there Chay? Some people might equivilate this sort of stuff with islamic suicide bombers. What moral person would recruit kids to build bombs in an economy where there's an apparent shortage of workers? You're a literal, moral disgrace
