Some people just don't like to follow rules.
Case in point-- here is 28-year old Jose Enrique Navarro, Jr. of Lakeland.
At around 5:30 pm on Tuesday, March 17th, a PCSO deputy conducted a traffic stop on Jose's Mercedes Benz as it was driving on I-4 eastbound near Exit 28 in Lakeland.
During the stop, Jose said, "I know I can't drive, but I was heading home from work. I've got a court date coming up soon for my DUI."
Sure enough, Jose's license was suspended on January 10th for DUI.
Jose Enrique Navarro, Jr. was #ArrestedByThePolkCountySheriffsOffice and taken to the Sheriff's Processing Center where he was charged with Driving While License Suspended/Revoked.
In addition to his pending DUI charges, Jose has also been charged in the past for: Burglary of Conveyance, Auto Thefts, Criminal Mischief, Trespassing, Dealing in Stolen Property, and Battery.
He has been to state prison twice.

That hero was my brother Robert Herrick and the boulder does weigh 400 lbs. He's 6' 6" and weighs 240. His extensive knowledge of the show for over 30 years allowed him to make that split second decision to change the trajectory of the boulder that saved the audience from serious injuries.
