Team Campbell is proud to honor fallen hero and retired Bexar County Deputy Michael Saunier, who succumbed to long-term complications from chemical exposure in the line of duty. In his memory, my office donated a flag flown over the Texas Capitol. My staff presented the flag to active-duty deputies, who will deliver it to his family in Lubbock. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.
Thank you to U.S. Secretary of Education @Linda_McMahon for inviting me to join her for an education roundtable this morning in Austin.
I appreciated the opportunity to hear updates from the federal level and discuss the work underway in the Texas Senate Committee on Education to strengthen student outcomes, expand educational opportunity, and empower Texas families.
It was also great to be joined by House Public Education Committee Chairman @BradBuckleyDVM and State Representatives @Schoolcraft4TX and @EllenTroxclair for this important conversation.
Thank you, Secretary McMahon, for coming to Texas and taking the time to hear directly from Texas lawmakers about the work ahead! #txlege #education #schoolchoice
Team Campbell congratulates UT Austin RSOC! Years in the making — today we celebrate the opening of the new Regional Security Operations Center facility at Gregory Plaza. This is a strategic investment in Texas’ future.
As the world’s 8th-largest economy, Texas faces constant cyber threats to our infrastructure, local governments, schools, and workforce. The RSOC delivers 24/7 cybersecurity services to over 3,100 public entities, at no cost, while giving students real-world experience that closes the talent and capabilities gap.
Aligned with the Texas Legislature’s vision and Texas Cyber Command, this model builds the skills we need for tomorrow and drives the outcomes our state strives for: a more secure economy and national leadership in cybersecurity readiness. Texas has the opportunity, innovation, and passion to serve.
Texas is worth defending. Proud of the UT Austin Information Security Office, RSOC team, student analysts, and every partner making this possible. https://t.co/7q21L8zton

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we recognize the millions of women and families who have been impacted by breast cancer and the importance of raising awareness year-round. Knowledge and early detection are powerful tools. Take time this month to learn about your risk, talk with your doctor, and encourage the women in your life to stay up to date on recommended screenings. #BreastCancerAwareness
Team Campbell attended the Eagle Ford Excellence Awards luncheon, where the industry recognizes companies who strive to improve their community and be good stewards of the environment. Congratulations to the award winners and employees who give back. It was also a pleasure hearing TXOGA President Todd Staples provide remarks on the importance of Texas' oil production:
Texas produced 42% of US crude oil in 2025 - 5,751 thousand barrels per day. Texas' totals are more than 11 other high-producing states combined. The Eagle Ford area is a primary revenue generator and mainstay for the success of Texas' economy.
A Flood Watch is in effect across portions of Texas, with heavy rainfall and flash flooding possible. Please stay weather aware, monitor local forecasts, and use extra caution when traveling. Never drive or walk through flooded roadways. Turn Around, Don’t Drown. For current road conditions and flood preparedness resources, visit:

It was great to spend Sunday afternoon in Wimberley with the Hays County Republican Women!
With Election Day right around the corner, I appreciated the opportunity to speak about the importance of staying engaged in our communities, knowing what is on the ballot, and making our voices heard at the polls.
Thank you to Cris Peterson and the Hays County Republican Women for the warm welcome and for all the work you do to keep voters informed and involved across Hays County!
Team Campbell was happy to participate in the South Texas Coastal Initiative’s fundraiser supporting efforts to recycle oyster shells from San Antonio and other inland communities and return them to the Texas coast.
These recycled shells help restore oyster reefs, which play an important role in the health of our coastal ecosystems. With an estimated 80% of Texas’ oyster reefs lost, restoration efforts like these can help rebuild vital habitat and improve water quality. A single oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water each day!
Yesterday, I enjoyed visiting with Valmark Chevrolet owner Mark Stevenson and his team, including technician Lu Vargas. It was great to get a firsthand look at their work and hear from the people who keep things running every day in New Braunfels.
What a blessing it was to spend the afternoon with the wonderful people of the South Texas Pregnancy Care Center at their annual banquet! Their commitment to walking alongside mothers, supporting families, and choosing life is truly a mission rooted in faith and love. I’m so grateful for the hearts of those who serve and for the difference they make in our community every day.
It was great to stop by the Guadalupe County Republican Women’s monthly luncheon and spend time with so many dear friends! Thank you to GCRW President Janel Ray for the warm welcome. I also enjoyed catching up with State Representative @Schoolcraft4TX and Guadalupe County Republican Chair Terry Harper. Always a pleasure to be in Guadalupe County!
It's become a bit of a tradition for the wonderful folks of the Republican Club of Comal County to invite me to speak and have birthday cake after the meeting. Thank you to everyone who came out - It's always great reconnecting with long-time friends and meeting new ones!
Happy Birthday to the United States Air Force! Today, we honor the Airmen who have defended our skies and safeguarded our freedom with courage, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to our nation. May God bless all who have worn the uniform and those serving today. #AirForceBirthday
I enjoyed attending the New Braunfels Chamber's Business Trade Show yesterday. It was a sold out event with many small businesses there to speak with attendees. Thanks to the Expo Committee and for the President of Wurstfest Association for letting me join you on stage for a toast to kick things off. Support small businesses and shop local! #txlege
Team Campbell attended Northeast Lakeview College to celebrate Zachry Corporation’s investment in the Texas A&M Engineering Academy!
This innovative partnership allows students to pursue an engineering degree while co-enrolled at Northeast Lakeview College and Texas A&M University, providing a more affordable and accessible pathway to a top-ranked engineering degree. It is great to see Texas businesses and higher education working together to invest in our students and prepare the next generation of Texas engineers!
