@asda I visited your store in Govan, Glasgow. Great store, but in the car park, the traditional Govan street furniture, straight out of the 1980's, is really not a good look. Apparently, it's been there for some time. Or maybe, no-one has noticed it.

@liu_jackson @BBCBreaking Also, I am well aware of the high safety standards in aviation, I just feel that when news channels report that this crash is "unprecedented given Boeing 737's stellar safety record" seems disrespectful to the almost 6,000 people who have died in previous 737 accidents.

@liu_jackson @BBCBreaking We hear all the time that the Boeing 737 is a safe plane, but since the first generation in 1968, there has been over 500 accidents, including 219 total loss of aircraft. That puts it at the top of the accident list

@liu_jackson @BBCBreaking I should add that the Airbus 320, regarded as the direct competition to the Boeing 737 has been involved in 159 accidents or incidents, including 47 total loss of the aircraft. This 320 range of aircraft is the highest selling commercial aircraft.

@yiliang_liang @liu_jackson @BBCBreaking The vast majority of all air accidents were prior to the 1990's, but this particular range of models suffers in all areas of the world. It is probably down to the fact it is used mostly for medium haul, so lots of take off/landing will put more stress on the airframe.

@GlasgowCC this road sign has been like this for a little while now, clearly dangerous to pedestrians and road users. I am assuming that no-one at the council is aware of it, otherwise action would have been taken by now. It's Royston Rd, at Robroyston Rd.

Nice. I'm a winter person, lover of storms. The recent storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin just completely missed Glasgow. At least we get to see a little snow. Not the "thundersnow" that was promised, but enough to keep me happy. 👍😁

@AndyCybernat @GlasgowMarkets Don't get your hopes up, I can't see it opening up this year, if at all. I presume the building work relates to the fire damage from a couple of years ago. I can see the whole area from my flat in Charles Street, and I have not seen any building work going on at all.
