Agree with this. At the end of the day, LLMs *simulate* a human interlocutor and there’s no way it’s good for your brain to be cruel to something mimicking a person.

It provides a moral framework that justifies users practicing/simulating cruelty. Practice it enough, it will start to become habit.

At the Constitutional convention nothing was talked about so much as corruption, it was an obsession, the fear of private interests taking over, corruption as the likely “death of all republics”. Not once did they address it in criminal law terms, and not once did they think the solution was criminalizing. Today’s campaign finance system is corrupt to the core.
