The Supreme Court just got real clear about Birthright Citizenship.
Trump loses again.
I’m not here to debate feelings.
The Court basically said, ‘We already fought a Civil War, passed the Fourteenth Amendment, and overruled Dred Scott. We’re not doing this assignment again.

.@BarackObama on Trump: I believe in face to face. If this... whoever you were talking about was in front of me, which has happened a couple times, he don't talk like that because he knows better.
Reconstruction was a pivotal and turbulent chapter in our nation’s history – and its consequences are still being felt today. With @HGMedia's Reconstruction: The Unfinished Promise, I hope folks can rediscover an essential part of our past and remember that even in moments of deep conflict and contradiction, persistence and perseverance remain powerful sources of hope.
Yesterday, we celebrated Juneteenth—the day that marked freedom for the last remaining enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas. We also reflected on the significance of General Sherman's Field Order No. 15, issued in Savannah, Georgia, a historic promise that helped shape the ongoing struggle for justice and equality in America.
Thank you to the Camden County NAACP for hosting a wonderful celebration of freedom, history, and community.

Today, we went outside to stop the attempt to take black people’s rights to elect their candidate of choice in Georgia.
It worked.
When we fight, we win.
Your friendly reminder that less than four percent of Georgia has voted.
When the numbers are low,
they keep the status quo.
You can argue all day.
Or you can vote and let them know.
