@Roothlus Didn’t see result but saw someone post something about Ks8x so I assume that was it.
Some spots bluff small and 3b makes sense, but I don’t think it would be here where you face very few thin value raises
@Roothlus Doubt anyone is betting small to induce river in a spot where you’re very rarely getting raised, and you can have a ton of bluffs that enjoy betting big. IP usually has Ahigh or weak 1p, you’re not running into many straights. Hard to call but could sniff it out imo
@Joeingram1@GTOWizard He powerjams for value too of course 😅 so if they call too wide in those spots it’s good. Experience would be knowing which to expect and is not easy thankfully.
@Joeingram1@GTOWizard I think quite a few of pads’ power jams are based in theory and most people just don’t find it. As well as exploitative ones, he’s one of the best imo.
I think overfolding as the other players is how you exploit it. “Collision effect”. We fold, they bust more than they should.
@Falkenby@Joeingram1@GTOWizard If you are one of the other players at the table with a shortstack, and other people are calling shoves too wide, you are gaining EV by folding, so generally yes I think so.
@tombos21 Is this using the AI feature? Can we trust it if it was only trained on solves that allowed squeezes pre?
I don’t know if that’s the case but it would concern me.
@MattyMayhem2023@BartHanson You’re right in a normal situation. In the original question I was responding to he said “if we know opponent had AA and will stack off”. In real life we can’t know that.
@MattyMayhem2023@BartHanson In the scenario given, we are already at the flop. The pot has $100 in it and opponent bets $100. So we now are deciding whether we want to risk $100 to see a turn card, if we hypothetically knew we’d win the pot+his flop bet + his stack when we hit.
@MattyMayhem2023@BartHanson You wouldn’t risk $500 to win $1500 in this scenario.
This is also a hypothetical scenario where we “know” he will stack off every time we hit, which isn’t realistic but is just an exercise.
@_pokercode Love this. You know he’s confident in his game publishing content like this instead of hiding behind complicated words and convoluted charts.
@ACR_POKER at 2 fts and a ft bubble, lobbies were broken so reset at break. Now none of my tables will open. Just writing this here timestamped so I have record of it :(
