#KJHSenglit celebrated #WorldReadAloudDay2019 by inviting pupils to read aloud from anything they wanted to a select audience including staff. We ate lunch, bookworms and won prizes but most importantly, shared our love for the spoken word. Well done to all our readers

To coincide with the Six Nations we held our Four House AR Championship. The winning house was Schomberg. Here are the house captains proudly displaying their certificate. The winning house gains twelve points towards the grand total at the end of the school year.
For engagement with AR, we reward our pupils with teacher forfeits. What about the form teachers who encourage them? We thought they needed a small treat too! Well done to the form teachers of 8CB, 9A1 & 10A2. (Many thanks to Oasis Beauty Clinic, Portadown for their generosity).
