Everything from Aggrend's blue post last year, private servers like Turtle WoW recently getting shut down, community chatter and now content creators going to Blizzard...

Something BIG is happening for Classic WoW.

We basically know Classic+ is coming, we just don't know when yet. Some speculate 2027, others think 2028.

Another big factor is are we getting Wotlk Anniversary after TBC? If they make us wait until 2028 a lot of the hype for Classic+ could die out. If they do it alongside Wotlk... well Wrath would be a ghost town.

So could Classic+ be coming sooner than we think or we destined to wait?

Major gaming companies are not going to compete with something as MASSIVE as GTA 6...

GTA 6 is set to release November 19th, 2026 and other games will hold off on their own releases until the GTA hype goes down.

Classic+ which many think will launch soon after a BlizzCon 2026 announcement is speculated to also hold off until 2027 since GTA 6 affects it as well.

@Shobektv I’ve been participating in 200+ player raids in Org and Stormwind in TBC Anniversary, tho as much fun as they are being able to hop layers to escape the action feels weird

In a recent clip, Xaryu confirmed he is going to Blizzard for “something” but can’t say what for. However the clip itself is titled CLASSIC+ TESTING…

I assume certain creators are getting invited to see an overview of Classic+ or even a demo so they can start hyping it up.

There's massive hype for Classic+ right now...

But if Blizzard gets it wrong? That Hype disappears overnight.

This isn't a brand new game. This is something players have cared about since 2004.

Expectations are higher than ever.

And realistically... they only get one real shot at this.

Classic+ has to get it right and that starts with the players.
