The lack of propaganda or consent manufacturing is at least nice. There's an unusual honesty in the US dispensing with the pretence of democracy. The process of seeking support from the US ppl for wars has long been a pro forma sham meant to pacify citizens with a false agency.

Having said that, consider that there is a similar dishonesty & pacifying false agency w/the usual "protests". The idea that masses of "voters" assembling & voicing polite displeasure w/politicians over wars accomplishes anything but your own pacification has long been disproven

A rare unironically wholesome opinion of mine that ppl would legit be happier if they just change their names whenever they feel called to do so. It should be a yearly option- the DMV sends you a form & you can just switch it up
