Jonathan's Arcade Mapping Project #2: Tropical Dynamite has been released and is now available to download: https://t.co/GkVdgoRwBk
A tropical themed mapset that you can play in GZDoom or a boom-compatible port!
...Wait, it's not summer anymore? Uh... Happy Halloween I guess??
Quick update: Update 1 now lets you select and play wads located in your "Saved Games" folder, with a neat menu too.
But without a GAMECONF lump, the IWAD doesn't get specified. Plutonia / TNT wads (PLUT7 for example) will attempt to load Doom II as the IWAD and probably crash.
I have some good news and some bad news:
Good news: You can play Plutonia 7 on the new rerelease of DOOM + DOOM II!
Bad news: You can play Plutonia 7 on the new rerelease of DOOM + DOOM II!
For those wondering how I got local custom wads loaded since I don't really see any information about that yet:
- Insert compatible wad in root folder ("rerelease" on Steam)
- Select game, open the console and use command "d_pwads (exact file name of wad)"
- Start new game
@OwlTimer451 No idea how a menu for this is omitted from this version considering the previous rerelease (unity port) actually works with local files all in the add-ons menu... Also without having an account.
Here's me selecting Plutonia 7 from the menu and activating it in the unity port.

One of my least-liked design elements of suburban design is this inaccessible landing I see in foyers.
Any creative solutions for "staging" it out there?
@Sneakernets Just installed it on mine and don't seem to be having the issue, though one thing I've noticed is that the default control scheme didn't show up until I went into the community tab. Are you able to open the steam menu and get into the control settings at the very least?
@KeeperOfWind @soulcalibur That game and all it's DLC was removed digitally around 2016 or so. So if you play on PS3 and don't already own Yoda, you're out of luck. Don't know about the online now, but I remember last year it was still working.
