@TokyoGaiden@DragonHakusho@TheBalls000@houlden2020 At least with furries, they're typically anthropomorphized as human adults. Otherwise, I'd say an attraction to real animals isn't healthy either and you shouldn't cope with it by pleasuring yourself to images of animals.
@ShiningPlat@lilifying For example, I think there being both a casual and ranked mode in every single mode in an already nice game, splitting the playerbase, is a bigger problem than any of the things you've mentioned.
@ShiningPlat@lilifying It's not a live service game. No DLC. It's already appealing to a more niche audience NO MATTER what the actual game is. It was always going to have a smaller audience. I agree changes could have increased longevity, but I disagree with what you think should have changed.
@ShiningPlat@lilifying Right, I understand that. Where I think you're simplifying it is thinking eliminating top ride would have equated to 2 entire CT maps when I don't think that's the case at all. I'm not trying to make this a huge think piece lol. I'm just responding to the point that you made.
@ShiningPlat@lilifying You could make the argument for Air Ride mode's removal too but I'm so glad they kept it. Sometimes I like playing it even more than City Trial. I think you're treating this like it's this simple, obvious solution when the reality certainly is not that simple.
@ShiningPlat@lilifying Sorry, I meant *16. I wasn't just referring to variety in events. Variety in terrain, things to do, whether machines work for the map, etc. Sakurai stressed how much work & effort the game took. I'm sure another CT map would have been added if it was possible.
@ShiningPlat@lilifying Judging it solely based off how quickly it takes to just see everything in it isn't a good measurement since that's not its appeal or purpose.
@ShiningPlat@lilifying Again, I think you're simplifying things. It's not meant to be a huge, explorable place and rather just a complex pvp map. They have to test things like if there's enough space for 24 players, proper variety, spots for events, if its feels good to play on, etc.
@ShiningPlat@lilifying I would be resistant to say sacrificing all of Top Ride would give us even 1 more City Trial map with the amount of planning and depth they need to have. I think you're simplifying things a bit.
@VeiledFroslass@ItmeBoe @FKwegwerf "What's the argument against having more Pokemon available for private lobbies or casual matches?" is right there in my tweet.
@ItmeBoe @FKwegwerf You are missing my point. You are actively arguing for the game being worse because it's targeting a specific demographic. Less Pokemon, less items, less rulesets (why???). Why should those things not be made available to use casually?
