Laurence is about to unveil an image of the Prophet Muhammad, the whole audience are in suspense, there are interruptions, they plead with him, they try to shut him down, the rules come out, there is an intake of breath

You can tell the room is completely on edge from this!

Because they know if he does, his life will be at risk and the Oxford Union may well be at risk too from the supposedly tolerant religion the other side are defending

It's hard work to teach your child how to read but it SHOULDN'T be complicated work. If it is complicated, you've been misled with the wrong curriculum and learning design. The early literacy industry in the USA alone is a multi-BILLION dollar per year, yet... our reading scores continue to go down. Wild stuff, huh?

I have this radical idea that it doesn't take billions of dollars yearly to teach kids how to not even learn how to read. I think it takes $0/year to teach kids actual reading. I'm doing everything I can to make that a reality by promoting research-based reading instruction and providing it ALL FOR FREE, designed in a way that's so simple to use that if you can read, you can your child (or another adult!) how to read.
